How it works
Three meetings take you from a first conversation to a personalized Social Security strategy, with ongoing support if your plans change.
Meeting 1: Initial Consultation
I'll explain what to expect from the RSSA® Roadmap Social Security analysis and how it can help guide you toward the claiming decision that's right for you. Afterward, I'll send a checklist of the information you'll need to gather so I can complete your analysis.
Meeting 2: Social Security Optimization
You'll receive your personalized RSSA® Roadmap report. It compares claiming early at 62, at Full Retirement Age, and delaying to 70, and shows how each strategy affects your monthly, annual, and lifetime benefits. I'll also cover how the decision interacts with the Social Security earnings test, Medicare IRMAA, ACA subsidy limits, and future Required Minimum Distributions, so you have what you need to loop in your tax accountant or investment advisor if you'd like.
Meeting 3: Retirement Income & Protection
I look past Social Security to your full retirement picture: your ideal lifestyle, projected expenses, and the other income sources available to you, such as pensions, annuities, or systematic withdrawals. I'll identify any cash-flow gaps and talk through options for health care costs that Medicare and Medicaid don't cover, including long-term care insurance.
Ongoing Support
If your plans change before you claim, such as your earnings, marital status, or target claiming age, I'll re-run your Social Security Optimization analysis at no additional charge.
